Due to the rain, the Show N Shine charity meet and raffle for today was canceled. They're rescheduling it for next month at a new location, so stay tuned! We also have a couple more charity events on the docket for next week.
First up: A Night on the Racetrack, Toy Drive & Tastemakers’ holiday event benefiting My Friends’ House Foundation. The event will be held at K-1 Speed Indoor Go-Kart Racing on Tuesday, December 15th from 7-11:00 PM in Torrance, CA. Bring an unwrapped toy valued at $10 to get discounted admission to the event, which will feature food trucks, music spun by DJ Kaleem and, of course, go-karts!

Later in the week, we'll be at the L.A. Record Xmas party, which is free with an rsvp and the donation of a toy! Live music will include: The Soft Pack, Abe Vigoda and Leslie and the Badgers with beats by Daedelus, Daddy Kev, Nobody, Kutmah, Take AKA Sweatson Klank, Matthewdavid, Sodapop and more... More includes an all-vinyl dance party, pop-up stores (by burger records, vacation records, haute olive, dim mak, cubtrina)...
My fingers are getting tired typing about it, so check it out at http://larecord.com/rsvp/
Despite the rain, we're still heading out to the Bruery for their Beer Geek event tonight, and later, to Sacred Fools Theater to dish out fries when Serial Killers lets out. Come out for a beer or a show (or both), but don't forget your galoshes!
