Squamscot Sarsaparilla is right down the middle of the various sarsaparillas we tried. It's balanced and bright and tastes good with our chili. It definitely passed my informal, weirdo method of initial taste testing. I put some chili in my mouth, then a swig of soda and swish it around. If it actually tastes good (and usually it's gross), then I'm on to something.
Empire Cola has a great dark cola flavor and lots of depth. It's a bit on the sweet side, but I think that makes it go really well with the Kimchi fries.We're carrying Noah's Water from California now, too. Unlike the Santa Lucia we were stocking, it's pretty local. Brook thought it would be more environmentally friendly to not buy water shipped all the way from Italy.
