We've got poutine on the Frysmith truck this week (or until it runs out)! Over the months we've been open, we've gotten tons of requests for this gravy-laden Canadian favorite.The hang-up's been the difficulty to find a good fresh white cheddar cheese curd at a reasonable price. We finally found 'em at Idaho's Ballard Family Farm. Our poutine's made with their curds and a tasty gravy flavored with porcini mushrooms for a little extra umami oomph.
Update: We're out of cheese curds, but we've placed an order that should come in late this week. Debating adding poutine as a menu staple. What do you guys think?
