Frysmith All-You-Can-Eat Night

Next Tuesday May 25th, Frysmith's opening up the truck for an all-you-can-eat night! If you've ever wanted to eat everything on the Frysmith menu in one day, here's your chance. If you've ever wanted to eat several orders of Rajas Fries at once (and we've seen some of you do it), here's another opportunity!

We'll be returning to the Verdugo Bar in Glassell Park, so there's plenty of seating in their back patio, and plenty of beer to wash down all those fries. And so you don't have to wait in a long line, we'll keep an assortment of fries coming out of both windows.

The all-you-can-eat dinner will cost $9.99 plus tax and is open to 21-and-over diners only (sorry, it is at a bar). Just like an all-you-can-eat sushi bar, fry-lovers have one hour to stuff their face and no leaving the rice (or in this case, fries) behind! The Verdugo Bar is located at 3408 Verdugo Rd in Glassell Park and fries will be served from 6:30p-9:30p.

Silver Lake Jubilee

Frysmith will be at the Silver Lake Jubilee next weekend on Saturday and Sunday along with a lot of our truckin' friends (for a full list, check the calendar on www.socalmfva.com)!

One thing we like a lot about this festival is the commitment to minimizing waste. They'll be composting all the food containers (no styrofoam or plastic bags here)! And they ask that everyone bring their own water bottles as no plastic bottles will be sold on site. We'll have plenty of our easily recyclable glass-bottled sodas and waters on hand for anyone who forgets.

Ron Ulicny Exhibition at ARTY

The Downtown Artwalk is right around the corner. This month, we're setting up outside of Arty, where they're holding the opening reception for a Ron Ulicny exhibition. Come check out his fanciful creations tomorrow night and stop by for some fries too!

Frequent Fryer Cards

After a long wait, we finally have some frequent fryer cards (a Freudian slip last night turned buyer to fryer, and I like it!) All you crazy people who come several times a week (and eat nothing else but salad and work out like crazy to stay so skinny... you know who you are), will fill these up fast!

Lloyd Wright Home Tours

This Saturday, the Gamble House is organizing a Lloyd Wright home tour. Three of the architect's dramatic homes are on the docket and at one of them, Frysmith and Coolhaus will be there to feed hungry architecture lovers!

Cinco de Mayo Special

We've got a special this week in honor of Cinco de Mayo. It's a take on chile en nogada, but, as you might have guessed, with fries. The fries en nogada feature spiced ground beef with apples and raisins covered with cheese and roasted poblanos. The topping is a walnut sauce and pomegranate arils.
