The PoTaco

Many a drunk person has come to the truck late at night and, even after looking at the menu for five minutes, demanded a taco. Upon explaining that we're a fry truck to one guy, he yelled, "Fine, then I'll take a quesadilla!" Well, guess what, our inebriated friends? We have a taco now!The PoTaco consists of fries that are mixed about with melted cheese. They're covered with poblano sauce, then shredded cabbage, then roasted red pepper & grapefruit juice salsa, then cilantro and lime. You can even add a sprinkle of chicharrones for just 50 cents. We'll have 'em for a limited time. And no, we don't have a quesadilla. For now.

More Sodas

Wanted to quickly mention a couple of the sodas new to our rotation. China Cola is probably my favorite cola. It's made in America, which I think makes it the exact opposite of American flag t-shirts made in China. Anyway, it doesn't have the strongest cola flavor, but it has lots of woody, citrusy and herbal flavors that are vaguely Chinese.Regatta ginger beer tastes more like dried ginger than fresh, so it's a change of pace for us. It's well-balanced, not too sweet and works excellently with rajas fries.

SModcast

It's always cool to hear the word about food trucks spreading. Today, our bud @Daremoshiranai told us that we got a mention on Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier's hilarious, informative, creatively-sponsored SModcast this morning.Ep. 119, around 26:07 they say that we've got fries as a meal, including "chicken chow mein fries or some such shit." Cracked me up. I feel a little obligated to actually make chicken chow mein fries now.
